I love Christmas time! It’s time for joy, family reunion, and also time to remember God
‘s love for humankind. It is also time to look back to celebrate the achievements or to correct route for the plans that did not work.
This is a good time to reflect at the words of the song Happy Christmas by John Lennon and Yoko Ono without replacing Christ by an X, because by doing this there is no meaning to celebrate Christmas. However, sometimes, Christmas is just a moment for joy without thinking on its historic meaning. And sometimes, religions are just an excuse to segregate people. Let’s do what Christ told us to do: Love each other as we love ourselves. I wish a new year without wars.
As I told, I would like to leave some Christmas gifts, so I’ll leave three songs arranged by mandolin, that can easily be used for other solo instruments. The first song is Happy Christmas by John Lennon and Yoko Ono.
For this song I will also leave a clip video with the same song arranged for solo violin. You also can buy the sheet music by clicking the button.
If you want to play along you can also use the playback video:
The next song is Feliz Navidad by José Feliciano. Also arranged for mandolin and Acoustic Guitar, but of course you can use the same score to play other solo instrument.
The last one is the timeless song We wish you a Merry Christmas, also arranged for mandolin and with a playback to play along.
I hope you enjoy my gifts for you and again, Merry Christmas!!
